NZCF have a portfolio of farms and forests throughout New Zealand which we own.

Our Properties

NZCF has a portfolio of existing forests and farms we have recently planted throughout New Zealand which we own. These properties combined total 14,000 hectares. All of these properties have been purchased and developed as Permanent Forest Sinks.

Our Forests

NZCF own 3 large established forests in the South Island, and 3 in the North Island which include land and trees. Additionally we have 1 forestry right in the North Island.

These properties combined total 8,690 hectares.

Planted 1993 to 2003

Laidmore Forest

Hurunui, North Canterbury Region, South Island

Size: 368 hectares

Planted 1993 to 2000

Keirnan Creek Forest

Blenheim, Marlborough Region, South Island

Size: 415 hectares

Planted between 1997 and 2001.

Officially launched as a carbon Sink on 11 May 2012 officiated by Hon Tim Groser, Minister for Climate Change Issues

Size: 1230 hectares

Planted between 1994 and 2012

Owhango, North Island

Size: 3,480 hectares

Planted between 2011 and 2012

Birch Hill Forest

Pongaroa, North Island

Size: 785 hectares

Planted in 2011

Marutawhiwhi Forest

Ruatoria, North Island

Size: 355 hectares as a Forestry Right

Planted between 1995 and 2011.
